Caminhando na Trilha
Seven Hills possui várias trilhas dentro da comunidade. Nesta época do ano que o clima já está mais ameno, vamos aproveitar para explorá-las, pois todas elas são maravilhosas para caminhar.
Em qualquer horário de sua preferência pela manhã, bem cedo ou no final da tarde, pode-se desfrutar desse passeio. Seja para uma caminhada de exercícios, para levar as crianças ou passear com o cachorro, escolha uma das muitas trilhas e siga. Algumas passam pelos parques, de outras vê-se até o aeroporto de Henderson e parte da Strip e seu skyline dos casinos; são tantas as opções que cada dia pode-se fazer uma trilha diferente.
Ao anoitecer sempre é gratificante, dar uma parada na caminhada em algum ponto da trilha para admirar o pôr do sol e agradecer por mais um dia nesse paraíso. Os caminhos são bem cuidados e limpos, tem partes onde são somente pedras, parecendo que estamos em um campo lunar, e outras onde um lindo gramado verde nos faz esquecer que estamos no deserto.
Tem-se de mencionar o caminho das roseiras, pequeninas, plantadas na grama verde e sempre floridas são as companheiras dos muitos coelhos que ali vivem e que nos observam parados quando se cruza esse lindo jardim. Há árvores por todo o caminho e diversos pássaros, inclusive o minúsculo beija-flor que tanto nos encanta. Moradores dos diversos condomínios que compõem o complexo de Seven Hills encontram nesse passeio, muitas vezes diário, uma forma de socializar-se à distância bastando um aceno de mão ou sorriso para mostrar que estamos juntos, não somente na batalha contra o Covid-19, mas que também somos vizinhos neste lugar tão especial de se viver.
Walking on the Trail
Seven Hills has several desert trails within the community. At this time of year when the weather is already milder, we should take the opportunity to explore them, as they are all wonderful for walking. At any time of your choice in the early morning or late afternoon you can enjoy a walk in the desert.
Whether for an exercise walk, taking the kids or walking the dog, choose one of the many trails and follow it along. Some pass through parks, others afford a view of Henderson Airport and parts of the Strip and its casino skyline. There are so many options that each day you can take a different trail. Dusk is always rewarding, stopping on the walk somewhere on the trail to admire the sunset and give thanks for another day in this paradise. The paths are well maintained and clean. The trails are diverse, there are parts where they are just rocks, something akin to a lunar field, and others where the beautiful green lawn makes us forget that we are in the desert.
One must mention the Path of the Roses, these rosebushes, are small, planted in a green belt and always in bloom, they are the companions of the many rabbits that live there and who watch us as we cross this beautiful garden. There are trees all the way and several species of birds, including the tiny hummingbird that so enchants us. Residents of the various condominiums that make up the Seven Hills always cross paths, often daily, today’s way to socialize at a distance with just a wave of a hand or smile to show that we are together not only in the battle against Covid-19, but that we are also neighbors in this very special place we live in.
