We also repudiate conduct that shows hatred or prejudice of any kind, whether explicit or veiled which may censor that freedom of expression. We also consider it an attack on civil liberties when political and financial pressure is mounted against media professionals and companies who express or give shelter to divergent opinions.
In this sense, this news media supports Rodrigo Constantino and Jovem Pan, in a recent episode with Mr. João Agripino da Costa Doria Junior, the current Governor of São Paulo, Brazil, who stole Constantino’s right to respond, denigrated his professional image, prevented him from expressing his thoughts freely, and rudely interrupting him with denigrating and unkind comments.
At the same time, we congratulate Jovem Pan for their pristine conduct, which increasingly puts Jovem Pan above and ever more distant from the old and compromised Brazilian press.
